The Traitors Triumphs at Critics Choice Awards
Peacock's reality sensation The Traitors has dominated this year’s Critics Choice Real TV Awards, claiming four top honours, including Male Star of the Year. Called ‘The Reality Event of the Year’ (Variety) this second season has cemented The Traitors as a benchmark in unscripted television .
Critics Choice Real TV Award Wins:
- Best Competition Series
- Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series
- Best Show Host for Alan Cumming
- Male Star of the Year for Alan Cumming
In addition to these wins, the second series has recently been nominated for a Television Critics Association Award for Outstanding Achievement in Reality.
Since its US debut, The Traitors has gone from strength to strength. Season 1 was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Casting; Season 2 became the top unscripted series in the US during its launch week with streaming reach up more than 75% from Season 1.* The anticipated third season has been commissioned with a brand new celebrity cast announced including Tom Sandoval, Chrishell Stause and Sam Asghari.
