The second season of Peacock’s ratings winning, acclaimed reality competition series The Traitors has been nominated for 4 Primetime Emmy Awards.

The nominations for The Traitors are:

• Outstanding Reality Competition Program
• Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program for Alan Cummings
• Outstanding Directing for a Reality Program
• Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Program

In addition to these recent Emmy nominations, the second season of The Traitors was recently awarded a TCA for Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming.

Produced by Studio Lambert, Season 2 was Peacock’s most watched unscripted original of all time. The second season returned to screens in the US as Peacock’s most-watched reality premiere, streaming reach is up more than 75% from Season 1.* The first season won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program at the Primetime Emmy Awards. The series has been commissioned for a third season.

The 76th Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on on Sunday, September 15, 2024, with live broadcast on ABC in the US.

"The Traitors" has been named as finalist in two categories at The Licensing Awards 2024: Best Teen or Adult Licensed Property and Best Licensed Toy or Game for The Traitors Official Board Game from Vivid Goliath. The winners will be announced on September 10th at the glamorous Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Since last year, All3Media International’s has brought an impressive range of ancillary products to market. In addition to Vivid Goliath’s The Traitors official board game, All3Media International has launched The Traitors official card game from Ginger Fox, a dress-up line from Rubies’ Masquerade, an Interactive Game Book from Penguin Random House, an apparel line from Bioworld, as well as an online game, website, and store for The Traitors. Peacock's reality sensation The Traitors has dominated this year’s Critics Choice Real TV Awards, claiming four top honours, including Male Star of the Year. Called ‘The Reality Event of the Year’ (Variety) this second season has cemented The Traitors as a benchmark in unscripted television .

In addition to these wins, the second series has recently been nominated for a Television Critics Association Award for Outstanding Achievement in Reality.

Since its US debut, The Traitors has gone from strength to strength. Season 1 was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Casting; Season 2 became the top unscripted series in the US during its launch week with streaming reach up more than 75% from Season 1.* The anticipated third season has been commissioned with a brand new celebrity cast announced including Tom Sandoval, Chrishell Stause and Sam Asghari.

Leading independent distributor All3Media International has named Croatia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic as the latest faithful partners to bring the global format phenomenon to CEE.

In Czech Republic, Prima Group has commissioned a first season for the region, which has also been licensed in Slovakia for TV JOJ.

In Croatia, RTL Hrvatska has commissioned a first series and an additional territory in the region is soon to be announced.

These follow the recent launches of the format in Hungary and Poland. RTL’s 12 part series outperformed the slot average by 21%* in Hungary, whilst episode one of TVN’s Polish version outperformed the slot average by 28%*.

All3Media International announces four new apparel deals for The Traitors in the UK

New licensees join faithful partners Vivid Goliath, Ginger Fox, Rubies, Bioworld, and Penguin Random House.

Leading independent distributor All3Media International and rights holder of global format phenomenon The Traitors has announced four new UK apparel deals for The Traitors covering nightwear, socks, Christmas jumpers and underwear.

Licensing apparel specialists TDP Textiles and Aykroyds & Sons Limited will be launching The Traitors nightwear line through a joint deal between the two companies. Roy Boys, the character gifting brand owned by Roy Lowe & Sons Ltd. will launch a line of a men’s and ladies’ socks and UK Underwear brand, OddBalls, founded to raise awareness of Testicular Cancer will collaborate with All3Media International on men and women’s underwear line.

NOTJUST will partner with All3Media International to release The Traitors Christmas jumpers. Available later this year these ethically designed and knitted jumpers will include a Fair Isle design, inspired by Claudia Winkelman’s iconic Traitor’s style, with a matching knitted hood and fingerless gloves. The collection will also feature a second fun novelty jumper decorated with well-known Traitors’ motifs and an attached hood inspired by the infamous cloaks from the hit show. 

In addition to these, All3Media International will partner with gifting company Kimm & Miller on The Traitors character gift range.

These new deals join an impressive raft of ancillary products for The Traitors that All3Media International has brought to market. Last year Ginger Fox’s card game, Rubies’ cloaks, Goliath’s board game, Penguin Random House’s Interactive Game Book, Bioworld’s T-Shirts and an online game launched in line with BBC second series.

All3Media International also launched an online store earlier this year, which contains additional products via Event Merchandising including The Traitors hat, beanie, tote bag and water bottle. The Traitors immersive experience is set to launch through The Everywhere Group.

Produced by Studio Lambert, the series brings together the witty humor of returning host Alan Cumming with the deceit and treachery of a celeb-fueled competition set in the Scottish Highlands. Season two of The Traitors began streaming January 12, 2024.  

The second season of The Traitors is currently midseason with new episodes streaming each Thursday night at 6pm ET/PT exclusively on Peacock.
