The first ever season of the smash hit format The Traitors. Eighteen contestants are summoned to Castle Erenstein in Kerkrade by Host Tijl Beckand. Over a series of Missions they'll work together as a group to amass a jackpot of silver bullion. However in this group of Faithful players are 3 Traitors, hand picked by Beckand. Their task is to murder the Faithful one by one. In response the Faithful are offered the nightly opportunity to sit at the Round Table where they have the chance to banish a suspected Traitor. Will the Faithful act quickly enough to eliminate the Traitors before they themselves are murdered? And in the final episode who will win out - a Faithful or a Traitor?

Can they complete a series of mindbending Missions, working as one team to build a prize of silver bullion? Within their ranks are the Traitors who, each night under the cloak of darkness, murder one of the Faithful. The dramatic Round Table provides the setting for a banishment that takes placed each evening where the Faithful attempt to identify a Traitor. Can the Faithful banish the Faithful before they are murdered? And at the end of 10 grueling nights who will be victorious and claim the silver?
Tijl Beckand once more recruits a team of 20 Celebrities to take part in The Netherlands' most loved murder mystery competition. Relocating to the stunning Chateau de Beguin in the French countryside, the players are called on to complete a series of challenging Missions in order to amass a trove of silver bullion. As ever, no everyone is quite as they seem and a number of Traitors lurk within the group, ready and willing to murder on a nightly basis. Can the Faithful unmask the Traitors and banish them before they themselves become the next victim of the Traitors?
